What should I wear to bellydance class?
- Yoga pants, form-fitting top, crop top or sports bra, and a scarf for your hips. Or dress up in your favorite skirts or pantaloons, jewelry and hip belts! Dress in what makes you feel comfortable and allows you to see your hips. You may choose to dance in bare feet, socks, lyrical dance shoes, ballet slippers or whatever fits your personal needs (just make sure it has a non-skid sole).
Do I need any dance experience?
- Definitely not! Joanna breaks each movement down for all styles of learners, and is constantly adjusting to make classes accessible to everyone of all dance and fitness levels.
Is there an age limit?
- While bellydance is accessible for all age groups, Joanna’s classes are designed for teenagers and adults.
